Dear Fellow Cooperators,
It is with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I present myself as a candidate for the Group-IV(2) Constituency in the election to the Board of Directors of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI). I respectfully seek your valuable support and vote, and I wish to share with you my journey, my vision and my commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement across our nation.
The cooperative movement has been one of India's greatest success stories. For decades, cooperatives have empowered farmers, workers, women, entrepreneurs and millions of ordinary citizens by creating institutions based on trust, democracy and shared prosperity. Today, however, our movement stands at an important crossroads. Rapid technological advancement, changing regulatory frameworks, increasing competition and evolving member expectations demand a new approach to cooperative governance.
Our response must not be to preserve the past; it must be to prepare for the future.
With over 25 years of leadership experience in finance and service industries and my journey as Chairman of Malankara Multi State Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., I have witnessed how vision, professional management and innovation can transform an institution while remaining firmly rooted in cooperative values.
Now I seek the opportunity to contribute this experience to the entire cooperative movement through the National Cooperative Union of India.

As Chairman of Malankara Multi State Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., established in 2009, I have had the privilege of leading an institution that has grown through the unwavering trust of its members. Pioneered the concept of appointing a Brand Ambassador in the cooperative sector by engaging Dr. Boby Chemmanur (boCHE). Leveraging his strong public connect and social influence, Malankara significantly enhanced its brand visibility, expanded its outreach and accelerated business growth.
Membership in the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), becoming the First Multi State Credit Society from Kerala to achieve this distinction.

A Landmark Initiative for the Cooperative Sector
Recognising the challenges faced by Multi-State Cooperative Societies due to the non-availability of an Arbitration Panel, I took proactive steps to resolve the issue. This initiative resulted in the constitution of the Arbitration Panel, providing a long-awaited solution that has benefited Multi-State Cooperative Societies across Kerala.
My Commitment to the Cooperative Movement
If entrusted with the opportunity to serve on the NCUI Board, I will work with dedication to strengthen the cooperative sector by focusing on following key priorities.
1. Stronger Policy Advocacy
Advocate practical reforms, strengthen coordination with regulators, and ensure a more enabling environment for cooperatives.
2. Digital & Technology Transformation
Promote affordable technology, AI, cybersecurity and digital platforms to modernise cooperative institutions.
3. Capacity Building
Enhance leadership, governance and technical capabilities through continuous training and knowledge sharing.
4. Cooperation & Financial Inclusion
Strengthen networking among cooperatives, expand financial inclusion and create opportunities for collaborative growth.
5. Inclusive & Sustainable Development
Promote women and youth leadership, environmental responsibility and member-centric initiatives for long-term cooperative growth.
